I was in Budapest just before lockdown back in January. I absolutely LOVE the city, it’s such vibrant place with so much history, and amazing restaurants!

Prime Steakhouse Budapest is one of those restaurants....!
I was recommended to come here as it is supposed to have the best steak in the city.....I’d have to agree!

I kicked off with some scallops which were delicious, and perfectly cooked.

However, the real star of the evening was this dish! I had the ribeye cooked blue, and had the pan seared foie gras on top. Absolutely to die for! Then, as if the dish wasn’t rich enough, it came with a side of bone marrow, which ALWAYS makes me go weak at the knees!

The whole evening was perfect, the staff were attentive and were very knowledgeable about the wines.

As you can imagine, I didn’t have room for dessert, but the menu looked good, along with the rest of the main menu.

I would 100% recommended you try this place out if you’re in Budapest It’s not cheap, but oh so worth it!

One final point, the cocktails come with dry ice, so full of theatre, and great for those Instagram Stories!
